With the first month of 2024 having passed, Valve has released the list of the most played games on the Steam Deck from January 2024 over on X. There are the usual suspects here, and Baldur's Gate 3 has once again topped the list, but it is intriguing seeing some other games here. Palworld being so high up already and Persona 5 Royal coming back are both quite interesting, considering the former has only been out for two weeks, while the Persona 3 remake is coming out tomorrow, and you can check out our review for Persona 3 Reload now!

Here is the list of most played games on Steam Deck for January 2024:

Palworld already being at the number two spot after only two weeks is a testament to how popular the game has become. The developer, Pocketpair, has absolutely crushed finding a balance of monster-catching and open-world survival, and I love it. I also really like seeing Diablo 4 and Cult of the Lamb there, both of which are extremely fun games.

Compared to last month's list, we have a couple of games that have been added:

New Steam Deck Games Added:

  • Palworld
  • Cult of the Lamb
  • Persona 5 Royal
  • Warframe

Games That Left:

  • Coral Island
  • Disney Dreamlight Valley
  • Lethal Company
  • The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

You can't go wrong with any of these games, but I do love seeing what the most played games on the Deck are. I am looking forward to next month's list to see if any of the newly released games, like Persona 3 Reload and Granblue Fantasy: Relink, show up!
