If you are looking for a relaxing puzzle game with some gorgeous visuals, TerraScape is the way to go. It's fun to watch your kingdom grow as you pick and choose how to expand to satisfy the needs of your people, whether it be solo or in multiplayer. And, with the new Voyage update that was released a couple of days ago, we now have controller support that makes it easier to play on the Steam Deck!

The biggest enhancement that appeals to the Steam Deck playability is controller support. This has been fully implemented for any normal controller, and both the menus and gameplay are fully playable with a gamepad. The developer has noted that full Steam Deck support will be coming soon, so there should be some future improvements on the horizon, but for now, it is still very playable.

Other than that, we have a reworked Main menu and a new way of presenting building placement and range, ways to figure out if someone is cheating in a multiplayer game, new animations, performance improvements when placing buildings, a new map overlay, and a radial menu for map overlays. There are also some rewards that are given out for weekly challenges in the game!

You can check out the full changelog on their Steam Community Post.

TerraScape is available on Steam for $14.99. It is rated Steam Deck Playable due to sometimes showing incorrect controller icons, needing to manually bring up the virtual keyboard, small in-game text, and needing to manually set the graphical quality for good performance.
