Star Vortex looks like a very interesting Action RPG. You will design your spaceship and fight your way through alien sectors that are trying to kill you. You will salvage and upgrade your ship and gain new weapons to experiment with different builds. It looks like a blast, and with the newest update, we should have a much better UI to read on the Steam Deck.

The update is primarily focused on making changes to the UI to make it easier to read on the Steam Deck. The text size has been increased throughout the entire UI, ranging from mission descriptions to ship stats in the equipment panel and the HUD elements. The comparison tooltips will also no longer scale with UI scale since they are too big. Developer Zorg Games also mentioned that they did a quick pass over the language to make sure nothing is chopped off or overflowing.
The update also includes some other changes to the game that don't directly affect the Deck. Beams now hit immediately on contact before ticking, the Chinese human translations have been updated, ticking damage from impaled projectiles were reduced by 33%, launchers and pulses now pre-populated their pooled objects during load, and we had some bug fixes for controller navigation and flamethrower-style weapons.
You can check out the full changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.

Star Vortex is available for $24.99 on Steam.
