AYN is officially raising the price of both its Odin 3 and AYN Thor starting next week.
Previously, AYN had announced that due to RAM prices surging, the company was preparing to raise the price of solely its AYN Thor to account for additional costs incurred by the shortage. However, today, they announced that things are changing and those plans have escalated to bring the price increase to a more immediate state.
The Odin 3 and AYN Thor will see price increases across both lines of devices. The price increases range from $10 to $40 USD.
AYN Official Announcement

Each version of the Thor will see a price increase, except the Lite model. Notably, the Lite model of the AYN Thor uses the Snapdragon 865 chipset, whereas the Base, Pro, and Max use the stronger Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
The Lite will stay at its $249 price tag, but the Base will increase by $10 to $319, the Pro sees a $30 increase to $399, and the Max will increase by $40 to $489.
The Odin 3 sees similar price increases. The device does not have a weaker Lite variant like the Thor, but the Ultra version is now officially out of stock and has no reflective price changes due to its unavailability.
The Odin 3 Base model will increase by $10 to $339, the Pro increases by $40 to $439, and the Max also increases by $40 to $489.
These price increases take effect on March 8th, and any and all orders placed before then will honor the original pricing.

AYN has also shared that Thor batch 4 and Odin 3 batch 4 preorders will begin tomorrow, March 1.
As the RAM shortage continues to spiral out of control, tech companies and respective consumers are left having to deal with the blowback. Prices increase for manufacturers and, thus, products have to be sold at a higher cost in order to account for these sweeping changes. AYN has delivered strong and worthwhile consoles in both the Thor and Odin 3, but these price increases may cause some to second-guess their purchase. In any case, if there were ever a time to purchase one of the two handhelds, now would probably be the last chance to cement original launch pricing.
