In case you missed it, the Nintendo Direct we just had contained a bunch of news for us PC users. One of the games shown was Pepper Grinder.

Pepper Grinder is a high-speed platformer with a unique twist that you can drill through, well, almost anything! It's coming to Steam this March 28th. The movement looks both satisfying, and yet challenging to do well, but I guess it's best to show you what the game is like! Check out a gameplay trailer down below:

Created by a solo developer, Pepper Grinder is looking like a pretty good time to me! With beautifully polished pixel graphics, intense music, and gameplay, I think it will easily hold the player's attention for a good playthrough.

After a shipwreck, treasure hunter Pepper finds Narwhal-like creatures known as the Narlings making off with her hard-earned loot! After a chance encounter with a drill named Grinder, they team up to tackle the thieves head-on and retrieve Pepper's booty!

Pepper Grinder is due to launch on Steam this March 28th. A demo is available on Steam right now. The system requirements and the fact that the game has full controller support leads me to believe that the game probably will run well on the Steam Deck, barring any Linux incompatibilities.
