From the developers at Parabole and publisher PLAION, the next mystery adventure in the Kona franchise, Kona 2: Brume, has been announced to launch Oct. 18, 2023 with a captivating trailer to introduce us to the sequel:
Kona 2: Brume places you in a rural Canadian mining village in the 1970s as Detective Carl Faubert, who will unravel the mysteries haunting this place and must survive the incoming blizzard. As Carl investigates "the Brume," a mysterious mist, he discovers that something may be watching from within.
You will explore the vast land of Manastan in Northern Canada and fight through what's left of the small mining village. Search for clues and visit nearby locations on what is possibly the best form of transportation in any game, your trusty dog sled, to use your band of good boys to navigate the surrounding lakes for any leads. Experience the rich story that unfolds with every step you take through objects, letters, and documents you find, all while an omniscient, disembodied voice narrates your journey.
This new title is sure to provide spooks and scares and could prove to be a great way to spend Halloween Weekend. As a horror lover myself, I'm excited to pick this game up on Steam.
Kona 2: Brume can be wishlisted now on Steam ahead of its impending release next week. The minimum requirements for the game do seem a bit on the hefty side, but I believe there's a high chance this will run on the Steam Deck!
