Bandai Namco Entertainment America announced today that the second character DLC for BLEACH Rebirth of Souls is out now and will introduce master swordsman and healer Retsu Unohana.

Retsu Unohana is one of the top-most fan favorite characters who is now being added to the game’s roster. Players who own or purchase the Deluxe, Ultimate Edition, or Season Pass will gain access to new characters and content.

Retsu Unohana is the captain of Squad 4 and is a substitute soul reaper belonging to the Soul Society world. With her addition in the new DLC, you’ll get to see her signature and spiritual moves in action. Unohana’s signature move, “Iai,” is a technique where she draws her sword and slashes forward, with follow-up attacks dealing massive damage to the opponent.

Her spiritual move, “Hado 33: Sokatsui / Living Blade,” involves a technique where she steps forward and strikes with the sheath, with her follow-up attack dealing extra damage. Her second spiritual pressure move, “Kaido / Zanjutsu Basics,” allows Unohana to perform a counter and blow the opponent away by assuming a stance when receiving an opponent’s attack.

A new character trailer for Retsu Unohana joining the roster in BLEACH Rebirth of Souls has also been released.

Moreover, Unohana is great for maintaining control in the battle with her Awakening, which boosts her abilities by releasing Bankai “Minazuki.” This makes her attacks do more damage and also increases her healing ability while taking less damage.

BLEACH Rebirth of Souls is an action fighting game based on the legendary franchise created by Tite Kubo. There are over 30 playable characters available to use in the fight. BLEACH Rebirth of Souls is available on PC via Steam.
