Redfall to Get Offline Mode in Final Update

I think we all know about Redfall's release by this point. It was a hyped-up co-op shooter from Arkane Austin where you would work with friends to kill Vampires. It looked like it had a lot of potential, but on release, it was in a very unfinished state that lacked in a lot of ways. Still, the team didn't give up on it, and even when Arkane Austin was shut down, they still wanted to make sure the game could be played no matter what, even without the internet.

Redfall is set to receive one final update before going offline completely, and it will allow us to keep playing the game even when servers go offline. According to a post on X from the official Redfall account, the final update for the game, also known as "Game Update 4," will bring us revamped Neighborhood and Nest systems, the ability to pause when playing alone, an offline mode, and more!

I am not sure what the more is yet, but having offline capabilities is very nice. Especially when playing on the Steam Deck, having offline mode makes it significantly nicer to play portably, which is nice considering the game can hit 40 FPS on the Deck.
