Proton Experimental Update Fixes GRIS and Risk of Rain 2

A new Proton Experimental update was released yesterday that adds in some new fixes to get games playable or fix some minor issues. It incorporates the new changes from Proton 9 Beta 15, which makes some games playable again, like Alan Wake, and fixes some regressions to get multiplayer working again with Risk of Rain 2 and makes it so you can go through your inventory in Trove. This also fixes an error window that pops up whenever you exit GRIS, and DayZ can connect to servers again!

The new update should download automatically once you open up your Steam Deck!

Proton Experimental 3/15/24 Changelog:

• All changes from Proton 9.0 (Beta15).
• Fixed Cities: Skylines not being playable on Intel GPUs.
• Fixed GRIS showing error window when exiting the game.
• Fixed a few 9.0 regressions:
  • ETHER VAPOR Remaster is playable again.
  • Fixed Risk of Rain 2 being unable to start a multiplayer lobby.
  • Trove no longer crashes when going through inventory.
  • The Last Of Us Part I no longer drops FPS when moving mouse.
  • DayZ is able to connect to servers again.
