There Are Now Over 150 Steam Frame Verified Games

The Steam Frame is now officially out, and despite some of the mixed reviews, it looks wonderful. To prepare for it, Valve started implementing its Steam Frame Verified system, which gives us a look at what games could run well on the Frame standalone. It’s similar to the Steam Deck Verified system that we have talked about a lot, just for the Frame. And as of right now, there are over 150 Steam Frame Verified games that have gotten their green checkmark.

Over on SteamDB, we confirm this using an Instant Search and filtering for games that are Steam Frame Verified. In total, there are 152 games as of writing, with a little over half of them (80) being VR titles. The Verified badge for the Frame can also be given to non-VR games that can be downloaded and played directly on the Frame.

There have been a good chunk of games that have recently gotten this badge, including 2D games like Emberward and Cult of the Lamb, and VR titles like Open Brush and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City.

It’s awesome seeing so many games get this verification, and I hope it leads more to either optimize their games for the Frame or showcase. I do hope the system won’t have the same faults as the Deck version, but I’m willing to stay optimistic and give it a shot.
