Proton Experimental Update Fixes Khazan, The Sims 2, And More

A new Proton Experimental update was released yesterday with some great fixes for many different games. Alpha Protocol's launcher has improved rendering, videos for River City Girls have been fixed, and The First Berserker: Khazan won't show any warnings about the OS. There were also some Proton 10 regressions that were fixed for The Sims 2 Legacy Collection, RAGE, Atelier Yumia, Dishonored 2, and Forza Horizon 4 and 5.

• Fixed The First Berserker: Khazan showing a warning about outdated OS version.
• Fixed The Finals showing EOS EAC updater window twice on start.
• Improved force feedback support in Assetto Corsa EVO.
• Improved rendering of Alpha Protocol's launcher.
• Fixed boss intro videos playback in River City Girls.
• Fixed the new Final Fantasy XIV launcher getting stuck on "loading" screen.

  • The Sims 2 Legacy Collection is playable again.
  • RAGE no longer has focus issues when Alt-Tabbing on KDE Wayland.
  • Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land is playable again.
  • Dishonored 2 window can be dragged on Gnome again.
  • Forza Horizon 4 and 5 no longer require focus change to not have black screen.
  • The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion® Game of the Year Edition (2009) no longer has problems minimizing after Alt-Tabbing.
  • Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition no longer has issues with keyboard registration after refocusing the game.
