Today, a brand new character has been announced to join the Mortal Kombat 1 roster, and the voice/likeness used for her is none other than the actress Megan Fox.

Nitara is a vampire heroine who is fighting to protect her race. She will use her claws, fangs, and aerial abilities to tackle any opponent that is in her path. Watching her fight, it is clear she is a deadly character, constantly using the air and her versatility to demolish her foes.

In a statement about her involvement, Megan Fox did release a small statement:

I grew up playing Mortal Kombat and I can’t believe that I’m voicing a character in the new game. It’s an honor to be a part of one of the greatest video game legacies of all time.

There isn't much time left before Mortal Kombat 1 releases, and if you can't wait, you can wishlist or pre-order the game now on Steam for $69.99. Mortal Kombat is one of my personal favorite fighting games I have ever played, so I can't wait for the release and to see if it is playable on the Steam Deck.
