Hell Clock, a popular Action RPG released back in July, garnered "Very Positive" reviews from the community and currently holds a Steam Deck "Playable" rating; however, it just got Update 1.0.3, and with it, performance improvements that bring pretty big benefits to Deck users.
Our own Michael Baker enjoyed his time with Hell Clock, as you can see in our review.

Their update post highlights that Steam Deck users can generally expect performance to stay above 30 FPS, although in intense late-game situations, the game can still drop down below 20. This is still a marked improvement over the original state of the game, where the frame rate could drop to single digits.
There are, of course, your usual bug fixes and gameplay improvements included in the patch, which also allow more control over graphical settings and a dummy to test out your build before descending in your run. If you want to check out the entire list of changes yourself, head on over to their Steam Community Post.

The Hell Clock developers also stated that performance improvements continue to be a focus for them, so we could see Steam Deck performance improve even more.
Hell Clock is $19.99 (currently on a 20% Discount until September 4th) and is rated as "Playable" due to small in-game text.
