Gunbot Diplomacy is a pretty cool bullet hell game that has a chunky prologue in Blast Off if you want to experiment with the many robot builds before buying the full game. A recent patch has brought in improvements from the main game into this generous free demo, including major layout improvements for the Steam Deck.

It’s always nice for demos to get updates, and this update adds a bunch of gameplay tweaks, bug fixes, and new content such as a new map and additional weapons. The big one for us of course are the Steam Deck updates, which include improving legibility of the settings menu, tooltips, and font text size for the UI. All these are minor tweaks, but they help improve that Steam Deck experience for Gunbot Diplomacy.
