It's Summer Game Fest again, and that means plenty of showcases to whet our appetite for the next year of gaming. Today, we had the Day of the Devs Summer Game Fest Digital Showcase, an hour-long show that gave us a look at previously announced upcoming titles and some brand new ones, too.

A Look at the Gameplay and World of JRPG, Threads of Time

Threads of Time is an era-spanning, turn-based RPG inspired by the timeless classics. Embark on a journey through time, gather a party of charismatic heroes from across ages, and uncover a plot that threatens to unravel the past, present and future.

Sadly, we still don't have a release date for this one, despite it being announced way back in 2024, but it looks like an ambitious project, and I'm hoping the team can pull it off.

N PLUS INFINITY TIMES TWO is the new Game in the N Series, with a Focus on Online Multiplayer

Having played a fair amount of N and N+, I'm looking forward to seeing what N+ Infinity*2 brings to the table. It looks like it's mixing it up by ditching the lengthy single-player campaign and instead focusing on multiplayer and party modes.

I wasn't able to find a trailer separately for this one either. You can find the game at 35:25 in the embedded video at the bottom of this article.

Ithaca presents a narrative with a difference. Play as an environmental lawyer in her 30s, you join her mid-way through her story, and it's up to the player to figure out what's going on, such as why there is a petroleum company CEO in the trunk of her car.

A Kickstarter Campaign is live now.
