NEXON has announced that their upcoming Action RPG, Vindictus: Defying Fate, is ready to enter open alpha testing this June.

They also released a teaser trailer to show off some gameplay. There will be several changes in the Alpha build depending on the player feedback from the Pre-Alpha. The Alpha will include two companion NPCs, two newly added playable characters, a new village zone to explore, and a multiplayer mode.

Vindictus: Defying Fate includes skill-driven and brutal combat along with a dark and dangerous world. Players can perform powerful combos to dominate the battlefield by reading the enemy's moves to dodge and counter their attacks with precision. The game offers an ARPG experience where skill defines survival with unique characters and fluid action mechanics.

You can counter with crushing force if you dodge with perfect timing. This allows you to feel the weight behind every strike. You can master each character’s playstyle, which makes it easier to unleash combos. The 3D world takes place in a variety of environments, from treacherous dungeons to war-torn battlefields. You can make your character even more powerful by wearing high-quality outfits.

The Alpha build will have characters like Delia and Karok, and in fray from the pre-alpha, Lann and Fiona. You can also get help from your companion NPC on the battlefield. The alpha introduces new multiplayer raids, while keeping the single-player content from the pre-alpha build.
