FURYU Corporation announced a character video series for Varlet. VARLET is an upcoming school-life RPG about self-discovery set to release on August 27 for PC and Nintendo Switch.

Aruka Arasaki is a second-year member of the idol group Merveilleux who gets introduced in the first short music videos.

Varlet focuses on a dynamic Triad Stats system that allows character progression based on the player's choices during their journey. Attributes are categorized as Light or Dark Triad. While morality, sympathy, and altruism are included in the Light Triad stats, Machiavellianism, psychopathy, and narcissism are included in the Dark Triad.

Taki Sukina is also introduced in a new music video trailer, who is a third-year student tortured by strict house rules.

Players will face scenarios where they must make a wise decision, and each one will highly influence their fate. The protagonist will get extra options in combat due to the Dark Triad. While the Dark Triad unlocks new skills, the Light Triad grants powerful buffs that allow the players to get access to new choices and support teammates.
