Sunderfolk a New Tabletop-like Co-op Adventure Game is Out Now

Sunderfolk, a tactical co-op adventure, is available to play on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch™ for $49.99 USD.

Four players can initiate their journey through the Sunderlands to save their peaceful animal village from corruption. You can explore locations, encounter new characters, challenges, monsters, and unveil secrets. Sunderfolk is a streamlined alternative to the traditional tabletop gaming experience, as there’s no setup, rulebooks, or materials. This allows even casual players to enjoy an immersive experience.

Chris Sigaty, studio head of Secret, says that “As lifelong tabletop fans, it’s a dream come true to launch Sunderfolk as a bridge between the world of tabletop role-playing games and co-op video games. We hope to foster new communities, spark shared stories, and watch players create lasting memories of camaraderie and adventure in the Sunderlands.”

Up to a max of four players can play Sunderfolk in person. The tablet or phone of each player acts as an interface for character management and controlling the action in the game. Players can choose their class from among six choices. These include the Arcanist, Bard, Berserker, Pyromancer, Ranger, or Rogue. Each character comes with a unique role and passive skills in the game. You can customize the heroes with weapons, armor, items, and skills as they level up. Create a powerful party to complete all the challenges that the game has to offer.

Arden is the base of operations that expands with new shops and services as you progress through the game. Choose to upgrade the vendors for additional items and equipment after returning to Arden from a mission.

Choose skill cards for movement and attacks, and utilize items in strategic battles. Completing missions allows you to gain experience and rewards, such as unlocking new cards to modify your decks.
