SEGA and Lizardcube showcased a new trailer today for their upcoming 2D action platformer SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance. It launches on August 29, 2025. The new trailer showcases combat gameplay, weapons, and abilities that players will be able to use in this ninja-style platformer.

The Combat trailer gave a sneak peek of weapons like Ninja Hook, Glider, Claws, and more to help overcome obstacles in SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance. The world also has a neon cyberpunk vibe to it, with great electronic music that goes right with the levels. Executions and duel challenges against bosses are another feature highlighted in the combat trailer. And finally, the trailer also showcased NINPO abilities for our shinobi, including Shuriken, Fire, Water, and Great Serpent. Moreover, there are ultimate abilities called NINJUTSU, which include Raijin and Karyu, as shown in the new trailer.

SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance is available now for pre-order on Steam for $29.99 USD. There is a Nintendo Switch version; however, the pre-order will be available at a later time on Nintendo eShop. There is also a 10% discount available with digital pre-order, which includes the Original Arcade Outfit and Fortune Hunter Amulet. Physical pre-orders for SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance are now live on the Limited Run Games website through June 29, 2025, with three editions of the game available to purchase.
