Tripwire Interactive has collaborated with independent studio Arctic Hazard to bring the turn-based tactical title, NORSE: Oath of Blood. The new demo for this tactical adventure game will be released at Gamescom 2025, allowing players to dive into a new experience. Arctic Hazard AS is a Norwegian-based independent developer that worked hard to bring this tactical Viking saga to players.

This upcoming Viking-age, turn-based tactical title gets its first European hands-on preview opportunity. Members of the Arctic Hazard development team and Tripwire Presents will be present at the Gamescom Business Area - PLAION - THQ Nordic - Embracer booth. Fans can get to the Gamescom Business Area during show hours, Wednesday, Aug. 20 - Friday, Aug. 22, 2025. There will be scheduled 30-minute game demo appointments.

Positioning, terrain, and timing determine survival in the NORSE: Oath of Blood, so make sure to command a warband in tactical skirmishes. Grow your Viking village from a small camp into a stronghold through settlement building and resource management. Your decisions will impact your relationships and fate. Restore the Gunna father’s legacy to unfold his story.

NORSE: Oath of Blood is currently in development for Windows PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
