Moonlighter 2 Gets A Gorgeous New Steam Deck Startup Movie

Despite it still being in early access, Moonlighter 2 is shaping up to be a fantastic game to take on the go. I’ve always loved the balance of its mechanics, where we go out hunting for materials and then come back to sell what we’ve gathered. It’s balanced very well and feels like a nice step up from the first game. On top of that, it’s great to play on the Steam Deck, with developer Digital Sun doing what they can to make it as playable as possible on the device.

To celebrate how well it runs, the team has decided to make their own Steam Deck boot video, which is now available on the Steam Points store. And honestly, it’s definitely one of the better ones.

There have been a lot of boot videos that tend to do the bare minimum, but I’m actually really liking this one. So much so that it may actually replace the current one I have, which is the opening for Futurama. I’m sure we’ll be seeing even more optimizations for the Steam Deck for Moonlighter 2 in the future, and I can’t wait.

You can get the startup movie on the Steam Point Store, and it will cost 3,000 points. You get 1 point for every 1 cent you spend, so you will get the 3,000 points required if you spend $30 on the Steam store. Once purchased, you can change the startup movie in the Customization tab in your settings.
