Tekken 8 remains as popular as ever on Steam since its launch in January, and Bandai Namco is adding yet more playable characters to the expansive roster. Lidia Sobieska has returned to the franchise, and it is extremely exciting to see.

Fans of Tekken 7 will remember her as the ‘Warrior Prime Minister’ of Poland, and finally, players will be able to play as her in the upcoming DLC pack! Anyone who purchased either the Tekken 8 Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Edition, or the Deluxe Upgrade Pack can play Lidia Sobieska early, available from July 22nd.

Lidia Sobieska’s debut is the second DLC character after Eddy Gordo, and now Tekken 8 boasts 34 playable characters. That’s not all, however! Bandai Namco recently announced the next DLC coming this fall. In a chunky Story Mode update, Heihachi will join the roster.
