Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Will Now Show Steam Deck Controls In Configuration Menu

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is one of my favorite first-person titles I have played in the last couple of months. I am a huge fan of the series, and the game holds up as a competent adventure worth playing through while being faithful to the source material. While it is rated Unsupported and isn't the greatest experience on the Steam Deck, it seems that it won't stop developer MachineGames from making adjustments to make sure our Deck experience isn't the worst.

Yesterday, update #4 for the game dropped with a bunch of changes, and there was one specific one for the Steam Deck. Depending on the controller you're using, they will now show up in the controller configuration menu. This includes PlayStation and Steam Deck controllers. For a game that is a bit too tough to run on the Deck and rated Unsupported, it makes me happy that they are still accommodating those who want to get their hands dirty and play this way anyway.

The new update also includes some new content and other quality-of-life features. There are two new adventure books that cause more damage to enemies and pull weapons towards you when using the whip, and you can now enable an option to always skip cutscenes. You can also disable the center dot on the HUD, see more of the map when the journal is lowered, DualSense controllers are now enabled for advanced haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, new tutorials have been added, and ray-traced global illumination has been improved without any performance cost!
