It looks like it might be time to add another boomer shooter to our Steam Deck libraries! Inspired by retro shooters, HYPERVIOLENT has you running around the depths of a remote mining asteroid, and you have answered the call to investigate an ancient evil that has woken up. Now, you have to run around to figure out the cause of this grave issue and put a stop to its spread. I love the retro aesthetic and it looks like a damn good action-packed time, and it sounds like it will be even better on the Steam Deck after the newest update.

The third content update for the game was released a couple of days ago, and it includes some improvements for those playing on the Steam Deck. In the changelog, developer Terminist Arcade noted that they have improved performance and playability on the Steam Deck. There isn't more detail as to exactly what they did to improve it, but an improvement will always be appreciated!
However, as the name suggests, there is new content with this update. There's a new enemy, you can now kick enemies, 4K resolution support was added, you can now rebind gamepad controls, there are two new items, weapons have a durability stat that decreases with more usage, there were seven new achievements, and enemy AI has been reworked.
アップデートの全変更履歴はSteam Community Postで確認できる。

HYPERVIOLENT is on sale for $11.99 until April 21st. It is rated Playable due to needing a community controller configuration, showing incorrect controller icons, and small in-game text.
