GeForce Now Adding Support for Steam Machine and Steam Controller Later This Year

Gamescom 2026 has just begun, and to kick things off, Nvidia made a very lengthy post about what to expect from them in the next few months, including the likes of DLSS improvements and new features for GeForce Now.

You could easily have missed it, but towards the end of the post, they also make mention of the fact that they are working on Steam Machine support for GeForce Now, as well as adding Steam Controller support for SteamOS devices (Steam Machine and Steam Deck) and later for Windows and MacOS systems.

While there are unofficial ways to run apps like GeForce Now on the Steam Machine, it's always great to have official support that you can rely on. Plus, having official Steam Controller support across all platforms should let users take full advantage of their shiny new controller without too much fiddling with settings.
