Forgive Me Father 2 Gets Steam Deck Verified With Gamepad Menu Fixes

Forgive Me Father 2 is one of my favorite first-person shooters right now, and while I don't play it as much as I would like, I end up coming back to it consistently. The gorgeous visuals, Lovecraftian vibes, and great gunplay all collide into an awesome, engaging experience. And while we could play it on the Steam Deck already, with the most recent update, Valve has officially recognized it and gave it the green Steam Deck Verified checkmark!

While the actual new patch is small, it is still significant overall. The new update came with a couple of fixes, including menu navigation when using a controller, and the announcement that they now have the Verified checkmark! Overall, this doesn't mean a lot for performance, since some games with the checkmark don't perform well, but it's nice to see since that means Forgive Me Father 2 will show up more when people are browsing the store for great experiences.

This patch has a couple of other fixes, but it comes right off the heels of the first major content update for the game! This update added new levels, enemies, new tome effects, new weapons, a new mode, and more! There were also some nice fixes included, like text size increases, UI readability improvements, V-Sync working again, and performance increases when a large number of save slots are available.
