Endless Legend 2 is looking great, and Amplitude Studios has revealed the second faction coming to the game in the creepy Aspects!

The Aspects are sentient corals that are interconnected in a massive hive mind known as the Chorus. Designed as a civilisation built around cooperation over conquest, it is up to the player to rebuild the dying Chorus, as most of the coral across Saiadha has fallen.

I like the approach they’ve taken with this faction. With Coral Spores, the Aspects can spread their critical coral lifeblood to other tiles on the map, allowing the Aspect to grow their cities into a bountiful empire. These spores also make it easier to treat with other factions, as they offer unique perks to the Aspects Allies. Of course, if diplomacy fails, the Aspect can duke it out as well as anyone in the cosmos.
