Relic Entertainment has confirmed that Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Definitive Edition is all set to launch on August 14, 2025. This Definitive Edition allows players to experience improved and updated visuals. Get your hands on Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War – Definitive Edition for PC via Steam or GOG for $29.99.

There's a 30% discount on the Definitive Edition if you already own Dawn of War - Anniversary Edition. The upgrade will be active for the anticipated future and available on both Steam and GOG. The developers worked hard to enhance the original Dawn of War trailer in 4K. Pathfinding Improvements are also added to the list of enhancements for the Definitive Edition, as per players' request.

Dawn of War and Standalone Expansion content; 4 Classic Dawn of War Campaigns, 9 Armies, and 200 Maps are included in the Definitive Edition of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War. The developers made it possible for the game to feature 4K support and upscaled textures. To experience a higher level of fidelity while retaining the classic experience, they also created image-based lighting, as well as improved the world lighting, unit reflections, and shadows.

The fast-paced action is improved with new unit gloss and emissive lighting. Not only is the HUD and screen layout upgraded, but also the improved gameplay camera will show the battlefield in a more stunning way.
