Crown Wars: The Black Prince, a turn-based tactics and strategy game has just dropped a new factions trailer detailing the 5 enemy factions which you'll be going up against when the game launches next month on May 23rd.

Each of the factions in Crown Wars: The Black Prince will be able to call on their own unique skills and strategies, as well as special units in battle. You'll need to study them closely to ensure that you come out on top.

Regent Charles rules over France with his army of French partisans. King Edward of England seeks the French throne, utilizing his soldiers who are experts with the longbow and long-range combat.

The Duchy of Brittany will bring tough and armored soldiers to the battlefield, while Castile relies on their advanced engineering to seize victory.

Finally, King Charles of Navarre rules a kingdom notorious for their savagery and will use devious methods to achieve their goals.

Behind it all, however, is a much darker and more powerful force than any of these factions, which could very well change the course of history.

Crown Wars: The Black Prince is due to launch on Steam on May 23rd, 2024. It plans to have partial controller support and the system requirements would seem to indicate that it should run ok on the Steam Deck on lower graphics settings, however, users testing the demo have reported poor performance so far on the Steam Deck.
