If you're looking for a new creature-collector game, Creature Keeper may be a great one to check out. It's a comedic adventure where you befriend and fight alongside creatures in real-time combat, while exploring a world to figure out the truth behind a strange illness taking over. It isn't perfect, which we note in our review, but it's enjoyable, and it's getting better on the Steam Deck.

The newest update for the game brings in some great improvements, as well as a push to get that Verified badge. To do this, the team has made some optimizations to make sure it can get that green checkmark, including multiple controller support, changing the default screen mode to Fullscreen, a unique configuration file for the Deck, and cloud save functionality so people can play on whatever devices they want without losing progress.
The update also fixes up a bunch of bugs here and there. Players can now save when starting the game for the first time, NPCs will correctly show up during cutscenes, players will now not get stunlocked by a Bep that caused some softlocking, and a typo for the Hat Unlock description has been fixed.
アップデートの全変更履歴はSteam Community Postで確認できる。

Creature Keeper is available for $14.99 and is rated Steam Deck Playable due to minor graphics and display issues, which should hopefully be fixed after this update!
