Contraband Police Just Got Steam Deck Docking Support

Contraband Police is one of my favorite games from the past few years with its awesome Papers, Please border control gameplay in a 3D setting. While already a solid performer on the Steam Deck, recent improvements in an update post by developer Crazy Rocks has added support for the Steam Deck Docking Station from Valve.

It’s awesome to see Contraband Police improve, especially in performance. In prep for the console port, massive optimizations are in the works, including a new custom animation system. This is the big news for us, as this should carry over to the Steam Deck as well when the console ports release. In addition, the new 10.7.3 patch has laid down the groundwork for these big gains in performance with a new animation system.

Contraband Police is available on Steam, and is 54% off for $13.79 until September 20.
