Worship is the kind of game for people who enjoy creating creepy death cults, and it looks like a great experience! Developer Chasing Rats announced their new title recently with a showcase on Youtube, and I love the visual design they have with this one.

In Worship, it is your task to bring about the end times. How you do that is down to you, but I love leading my own cults, and I have to convince the flock to sacrifice themselves to the great gods out of lovecraftian hell. The game brings a healthy mix of blood sacrifice, exploration and base building mechanics, and players will have to look after themselves and their growing collection of happy followers.

With all the puzzle mechanics, powerful rites of passage, and diverse follower traits, I’m looking forward to seeing Worship in the flesh. It is scheduled for release in 2025.
