Cleared Hot's Chapter 1b Update Makes It Much Better on the Steam Deck

Cleared Hot has continued to build on its strong launch from 2025, still sitting on Overwhelmingly Positive reviews since its release. The second big content update is now available, bringing new missions and some major performance improvements, especially on the Steam Deck.

Arcade missions are now available, bringing several new experimental challenges to add some great replayability to the game. There are seven in total from survival modes to mini golf, with more planned in the future. Performance improvements are across the board, with the Steam Deck’s average framerate increased by 30% in most cases. New settings are also available to tweak including render scale and anti-aliaising. I’ve had some good fun with the Arcade mode, and this is just a solid update overall.
