Battle Train Gets New Update Fixing External Controllers On The Steam Deck

It feels like I am surrounded by roguelikes recently, but Battle Train looks like another awesome one. It's a deckbuilding roguelike set in a game show where you have to take care of your train. Lay down tracks, upgrade, and destroy rival champions to hopefully be the winner of the show. I love how it sounds and the 90s-esque cartoon style it has, and it sounds like it's getting better on the Steam Deck as well.

With Battle Train's newest update, we have a fix for external controllers on the Steam Deck, making sure they can properly handle inputs. While this may not seem important, it becomes very important when you want to play with the Steam Deck docked and need to use an external controller. We also have an update so the Battle Cards are now smaller on handheld devices, like the Deck, to see more of the map.

Other than that, the new update brings some other changes and fixes to make the game more playable. AI can no longer access barricade track and Build-a-Mine cards, the hat shop no longer spawns in segment 1, story progression has been updated, you can now view the enemy exhaust/discard pile, and there's no more hidden mana cost penalty for the AI playing the first card in a turn.
