Today is a momentous day, and if you are a fan of handheld gaming in general, you will love this one. We were sent the AYANEO Pocket AIR, AYANEO's first Android handheld, to review, and it has become the first device we have reviewed that isn't a PC that uses Linux or Windows. Since this is way outside of SteamDeckHQ's scope, we took the opportunity for it to be our first-ever handheld review that is posted on our new sister site, HandheldHQ!

A full announcement regarding HandheldHQ will be coming in the future, but we encourage you to check out the site and what we have up so far. We are working on more handheld reviews and getting everything set up on our end, so consider this a soft launch, but that doesn't take away from all the effort and care being put into it!
As for the Pocket AIR, if you are a fan of retro gaming and want the best screen possible on a very portable device, this is an easy recommendation. The Pocket AIR is extremely light and very portable, and it plays most emulated consoles up to and including PS2 with ease. There are some PS2 and Gamecube games that need a little boost, and Switch emulation isn't the most stable all around, but the OLED screen makes up for it and takes the gaming experience to the next level.

You can read our full review of the Pocket AIR on HandheldHQ right now, which goes into much more depth regarding the different aspects, design, and power it has.
Thank you again for all of your support with SteamDeckHQ and I hope you will follow along with our next venture, which will expand the handhelds we cover and go much more in-depth on everything we have our hands on.
