As we previously reported, the Viking survival tribe builder ASKA is receiving a free 5-hour long demo as part of the Steam Open World Survival Crafting Fest. You and up to 3 others can play solo or in a coop game for 5 hours as you try to build up your Viking tribe. At the end of the demo, you'll be given a score based on your performance, after which, you can compare your score with your friends or try again for a better score.

In case you missed our last article, here's a 4-minute overview of ASKA so you can familiarize yourself with the game:

ASKA's demo will be available until June 3 at 10 am PT. In the demo you'll be able to build a settlement, summon a tribe, manage your intelligent AI villagers, and uncover the secrets of these untamed lands, as I mentioned before, you can do all of this while playing solo or with up to four players in multiplayer.

The ASKA demo will be taken down on June 3rd, but when the Steam Next Fest hits on June 10th, another demo will be available for players to try from June 10-17. Don't forget that the actual game launches into early access on June 20th as well, when you'll be able to buy the game and play for as long as you want.

ASKA will be available on June 20th on Steam. There will be demos available for the game from May 27th-June 3rd, and June 10th-17th before release. The game has partial controller support, but challenging system requirements that may prove to be a struggle to run on the Steam Deck, so here's hoping the system requirements are airing on the side of caution.

Will you be playing one of ASKA's demos during these Steam events? Let us know in the comments below!
