This makes it significantly more competitive with the Steam Deck than ever before! And yes, this is still the Z1 Extreme version and not the less powerful Z1.

If you want an alternative, you can get the ROG Ally from Best Buy at a discounted rate of $619.99. It is still a little more expensive than directly from ASUS's site, but it is an alternative incase you would rather go to Best Buy and still get some sale.
