If you want to feel old today, don't worry, I've got your back! That's right, Rollercoaster Tycoon will be 25 years old at the end of this month. And if you, like me, remember playing it on your old Windows 95 Pentium I computer on your CRT monitor, then you're likely old and grumpy the same as me!

In attempts to alay this grumpiness that we feel in our old age, however, Atari is inviting fans to join in the celebrations, with in-game bonuses, merch & apparel, collectibles, game streams, as well as interviews with Chris Sawyer, the man who created and designed the original Rollercoaster Tycoon game, one of the items is apparently hand-signed by Chris Sawyer himself!

Although celebrations will be occurring throughout the month of March, Rollercoaster Tycoon's official anniversary will fall on March 31st, so that's the date to keep your eye on!

Atari also stated that they intend to create additional games in the Rollercoaster Tycoon franchise in the coming years. Might we see an announcement of a future game on the series anniversary? It would seem like a fitting time, but it's purely speculation at this point.

You can keep up to date on celebrations as well as any news on the RCT franchise on its website.

You can also grab the RollerCoaster Tycoon games on Steam. They require some tweaking to play on the Steam Deck, but it is possible.
