Wolfeye Studios Teases Next Project, and Fans of Dishonored Will Be Very Happy

When WolfEye Studios was founded, and they released their debut title, Weird West, I was overjoyed. The team has a lot of experience with RPGs, and it showed as the game was nominated for the best RPG of the year at the 26th D.I.C.E. Awards. The team is hell-bent on creating games that allow you to have your own adventures in rich worlds that adjust to the actions you take in-game, and so far, they have been sticking to it. Today, the studio has announced that their next game has just wrapped up pre-production, and fans of games like Dishonored and Prey will be extremely happy.

The game, which has no name yet, is a first-person action RPG set in a sci-fi world. WolfEye Studios is primarily made up of members of Arkane Lyon and Arkane Austin, both of which are studios that worked on Dishonored and Prey. With those influences, this game could be a spiritual successor to those series. I really hope it is since I love both games and still play Dishonored on my Steam Deck to this day!

The studio really wants to incorporate community feedback early on to ensure they are developing the best game possible, so there will be a private alpha next year! You can sign up for it now by visiting WolfEye Studio's website.

The president of WolfEye Studios and Creative Director for the new game, Raphael Colantonio, who was also the founder of Arkane Studios, mentions how excited he is to work on the game:

We are so happy to be able to officially confirm that our next game is actively in production and that it is a First Person Action RPG. Fans of the past games I have been involved with such as Dishonored and Prey will feel at home, as well as fans of RPGs in general. While we look for the right publishing partner, our sights are firmly set on getting our community involved with the game’s development with a limited private Alpha in 2025. We can not wait for fans to see what we are working on.

WolfEye Studios hit it out of the park with Weird West, so I am very optimistic about what the studio can create. The screenshots look gorgeous, though, and I will be watching them very closely to see what comes next!
