Wartales, the Medieval Open World Tactical RPG has received a brand new DLC entitled The Tavern Opens!

This DLC tasks players with running a tavern for the weary, whether they are soldiers, mercenaries, travelers, or ruffians. It's your job to run a prosperous tavern by recruiting the right staff and providing the best service.

Assemble your staff, assign companions to improve customer satisfaction, and master cooking and brewing techniques in this new DLC!

You can unlock specialized tools that will let you build and design your own perfect tavern, and attract your preferred clientele. There are 15 factions that can visit, all with their own preferences in food, drink, music, and decorations.

It's not all plain sailing though, send in spies to rival taverns to disrupt their business, thieves to steal their gold and recipes, and just maybe, you'll rise to the top and get a chance to build yourself the most luxurious tavern in the land!

Plus, you can even manage your tavern remotely, so whether you're right there, or off on an adventure, you can keep an eye on your business.

Wartales is available now for $26.24 on Steam, down from the usual price of $34.99 until April 24th. Wartales: The Tavern Opens! DLC is available for $11.69, down from the usual price of $12.99, until May 2nd.

Wartales is rated as Playable on the Steam Deck, due to having small in-game text, sometimes requiring the manual invoking of the on-screen keyboard, and incorrect controller icons showing.
