The Steamworld games have long been a favorite of mine, and Thunderful is working hard on its newest addition to the series: SteamWorld Heist 2. Today, Thunderful revealed their official extended gameplay trailer for the game:

In the newest feature trailer, narrator Kyle T. Johnson takes players on a journey through the watery world of SteamWorld Heist 2 with an expanded look at the overworld gameplay.

You can wishlist SteamWorld Heist 2 on Steam and join the community on X, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, Discord and YouTube. It will launch on August 8, 2024.

All the Steamworld games run great on the Steam Deck, although their most recent entry, Steamworld Build, struggles with small text size. However, given the history of their previous releases, I'm confident that Steamworld Heist 2 will be Verified out of the box.
