Thronefall Gets Scalable UI in New Patch for Steam Deck

Thronefall is an awesome little early-access game about building and defending your kingdom from attacks. It's a great minimalist strategy game that removes complexity and replaces it with enjoyable hack-and-slash gameplay. With the new patch that was just released, it will be a little easier to see the UI on smaller screens, including the Steam Deck.

Update 1.7, released today, includes a solid number of new improvements to the game. The biggest one, which pertains specifically to the Steam Deck, is the new scalable UI. This update now includes a slider that can scale the UI easily, making it bigger or smaller. It goes from 50% to 150%, making it significantly larger and more readable outside the Deck.

Along with the scalable UI, we also have a reworked progression system, which now allows you to get new weapons, mutators, and building upgrades as you complete campaign levels. You can also take 5 perks with you instead of 3 and the start of Eternal Trials Season 3. There's also a reworked tutorial and tip system to onboard new players more easily. And with that, this will be the last major patch before Thronefall's full release later this year!

Thronefall is on sale for the Steam Summer Sale until July 11th for $7.49. It is rated Playable due to small in-game text, but this may be fixed now!
