The Last Spell Gains New Challenges & Content in the Dwarves of Runenberg DLC, Out Now!

The Last Spell is evolving today with the arrival of the Dwarves of Runenberg DLC which is now available on Steam. Dwarves of Runenberg brings a new map, introduces Dwarves as a playable character class, and adds new weapons as well as encore challenges. The DLC will cost $7.99. Meanwhile, a separate update which is free to all players brings further improvements to The Last Spell.

The Dwarves of Runenberg DLC adds a new map in the town of Runenberg, which aims to challenge even The Last Spell’s most renowned tacticians. The DLC also adds the Dwarf as a playable character class, as well as introducing a new perks-granting system that is tied to the race of each warrior and three weapon types each with distinct skills.

The additions brought in by the Dwarves of Runenberg DLC aim to offer alternative strategies when fighting against The Last Spell’s droves of monsters.

A free content update also offers a new weapon pool dilution system, more than 20 additional perks, and trinkets, plus bug fixes for all owners of the base game, regardless of whether they own the new DLC or not.

The Last Spell is available on Steam for $14.99, down from the usual price of $24.99 until May 1st, 2024. The Dwarves of Runenberg DLC is available for $7.19, down from the usual price of $7.99. The game has partial controller support and is rated as "Playable" on the Steam Deck according to Valve's testing.
