There are a few things I thought would never happen in recent times, and one of those is the Kingdom Hearts series coming to Steam. Yet, here we are, after years of waiting and a lot of lost hope, it seems our prayers have been answered and the entire Kingdom Hearts series is coming after years of being an Epic Games Store exclusive!

Announced on the official Kingdom Hearts X account, 1.5+2.5, 2.8, and 3+ the ReMind DLC, are all coming to Steam on June 13th:

Now, there isn't any mention of Melody of Memories, but it's great to see the mainline games with the normal Kingdom Hearts gameplay. Personally, I love the series, and I was settled on it staying as an Epic exclusive after it passed the 1-year mark, so this announcement has made me extremely happy! If you already own the games, we did release guides on how to get the entire series running on the Deck from Epic, split between the 1.5+2.5 and Dream Drop Distance and 3 and Fragmentary Passage. But with a Steam version, it should be significantly more playable without many issues on the Deck! And who knows, maybe the FMVs will be fixed, too.

This could be part of Square Enix's new mentality to go more multiplatform with their games, and if it is, I am extremely excited and optimistic about what will be coming!
