The Alters Release Is Postponed To Q1 2025

Some unfortunate news came out recently for those looking forward to The Alters. I had immense fun with the demo earlier this year, and was hyped to see it launch in October. However, 11 Bit Studios have decided to postpone the launch to Q1 2025 in order to get The Alters as polished as possible.

While this is disappointing, I would rather 11 Bit Studios take as much time as possible to ensure the launch is smooth. Given the number of games that launch in a broken and buggy state, this is a smart decision. 11 Bit Studios made a statement about the delay on Twitter:

The Alters can be wishlisted on Steam, and while the delay is unfortunate, this should hopefully give them the time needed to make this a huge hit. What do you think about the delay? Have you played the demo? Let us know in the comments!
