In case you missed it, back at the end of April, Bandai Namco revealed the future of TEKKEN 8 by way of its roadmap for Season 1 of the game. Among the announcements was the reveal that Lidia Sobieska would be the 2nd DLC fighter joining the roster in the Summer of 2024.

Now, Bandai Namco has released a gameplay trailer detailing more about Lidia and her place in TEKKEN 8, check it out down below:

Lidia Sobieska, who is also known as “The Warrior Prime Minister,” originally debuted in Tekken 7: Fated Retribution, an update to the game’s arcade version, and utilizes powerful Polskie Karate moves.

With the addition of Lidia, the total number of fighters in TEKKEN 8 will stand at 34, with 32 launch fighters and 2 DLC fighters. There are 2 more DLC fighters in addition to Lidia still due this year. Lidia will join the fight in the Summer, and 2 more fighters will join the roster in Autumn and Winter, with those 2 characters being revealed at a later date.

TEKKEN 8 is available now on Steam for $69.99. The game is rated as Steam Deck Playable, due to sometimes requiring the use of the onscreen keyboard. We found that the game ran pretty well on the Steam Deck in our review, with only a couple of performance hiccups.
