The newest entry in the critically acclaimed SWORD ART ONLINE video game series, Fractured Daydream, has just been officially released by Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. Available now on PC via Steam, this game marks a significant step forward for the franchise as its first large-scale, live-service multiplayer adventure.

Fractured Daydream provides an entertaining combination of solo experiences and online co-op play for a maximum of 20 players, so it's perfect for players who prefer to work in groups or go it alone. Let me solo her!!!

The game introduces an intriguing twist to the SWORD ART ONLINE universe. A broken and unpredictable environment has resulted from the collision of worlds and timelines brought about by an ALfheim Online system malfunction. In this alternate timeline, Kirito and his friends face unexpected and occasionally awkward alliances as former enemies transform into allies and long-lost characters make a triumphant return.

Fractured Daydream features beloved characters such as Yui, Silica, and Klein in an innovative storyline that is jam-packed with excitement and new information, all while emphasizing massive cooperative gameplay through cross-play.

In single-player mode, players can experience the story all over again by facing familiar enemies, deciphering riddles, and discovering where the anomalies that have thrown the world into chaos originated. In the online mode, players can work together on missions, raid bosses, and explore the world at their leisure. At the conclusion of each mission in Co-op Quest, teams will have faced a challenging boss. Coordination and strategy are required to prevail in the all-out fights offered by Boss Raid mode against gigantic enemies.

Finally, Free Roam lets players freely explore the game world, meet other players, and engage in casual co-op activities.
