A couple of days ago, we reported on an article from Boiling Steam that estimates the Steam Machine is selling around 10-15k units per week. Well now, they've gone back and used similar methodology to try and paint a picture of how the Steam Deck has been faring lately, and it's not a pretty sight.

We imagined the desirability of the Steam Deck would drop off a little given the recent price increase, but it really has fallen off a cliff if Boiling Steam's calculations are right.
They are assuming that to generate the revenue required to get the Steam Deck into the 4th-6th place spot it's been occupying for much of 2025, the Steam Deck would need to sell around 11-18k units per week. But since the price increase, the Steam Deck is largely occupying between 8th-14th on the global top sellers list, which would put sales more around 1.4k-3k units per week.

If this calculation is correct, it would mean Steam Deck sales have fallen by more than 75% since the price increase. It could also be affected by stock issues, seeing as the UK, at least, only has the 512GB OLED model in stock; the 1TB model seemingly never became available again after the price increase.
If you do want to see the exact methodology that the guys over at Boiling Steam used, you can check out their article here, which goes into more depth on the matter.
