Proton Experimental Update Fixes Final Fantasy 12 on OLED and More

A new Proton Experimental update was released a few days ago that improves some issues on the Steam Deck while getting a new game playable! We can now play Unity of Command 2 on the Deck, which is great, but the fixes are what really excite me. Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age has been fixed on the Steam Deck OLED, while the Microphone in Helldivers 2 is now working again.

The new update will be automatically added to your downloads tab when you turn on the Deck.

Proton Experimental 6/20/24 Update Changelog:

• Now playable: Unity of Command II.
• Fixed 9.0 regressions:
  • Battlefield 1 is no longer failing to launch with Nvidia GPUs.
• Fixed FINAL FANTASY XII THE ZODIAC AGE displaying white screen on launch on Steam Deck OLED.
• Fixed microphone not working with Helldivers 2 after a recent game update.
• Improved loading time of Arcanum.
• Updated dxvk-nvapi to help with Ghost of Tsushima performance on 4000 series Nvidia GPUs.
• Fixed License Agreement not displaying correctly in Romance of the Three Kingdoms [JP].
• Fixed Antenna, A Raven Monologue, YUT YUT freezing on OLED Decks.
