A new Proton Experimental update was released with some great fixes across the board. Death Stranding 2 got three fixes, with two focused on the launcher and the other fixing the high CPU usage. We also got fixes for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024's crashing, the intro video issue for Crimson Desert, and new games are playable like Blaite and Don't Die Dateless.

Still have to finish Deaths Stranding 1 ( I'm just doing to much side stuff).
But it's great to see that some of the issues are proton related or can be improved with proton Updates. It makes totally sense to me since usually the games are not made for Linux and proton os there's almost never a specific optimization and some ways of the game development for windows games just cause an issue with the proton base.
I just remember The Last of Us what was almost unplayable at release on the deck and looked terrible. But after a while the people could push the settings up even on deck and enjoy it very much according to my main source regarding Linux playability protondb. Never played it by myself since I finished the game on the ps3 but it was an interesting example what can happen after a while regarding steam deck playability and I'm still looking forward to Death Stranding 2.
